Hello Toes!

toes

I kinda love wood veneer. Okay, I REALLY love wood veneer! These little bits make me happy all the way down to my toes!

Super simple layout today, but a cute one no less mostly because it has one of Ria’s beautiful kits AND a photo of my little guys tiny toes! If you get a chance I would love if you could stop over at the Paper Camellia blog and check it out!

What are you making with this month’s kits?

Adorable {Paper Camellia Reveal Day}

Hey friends!

I hope it’s warming up where you are! We are slowly getting short streaks of beautiful days and I’m loving the sunshine!

It’s REVEAL DAY at Paper Camellia! I can’t believe I’ve been on Ria’s team for 4 months now! I love when her kits show up on my doorstep every month.

adorableMy layout today includes lots of layering, chipboard and gold elements. I’m currently back scrapping some of my older photos in with the new in an attempt to at least get to 2014! Better late than never, right?

Make sure you stop by the blog and check out the April kits and get yourself one!

As always, thank you so much for visiting my little blog! I hope you walk away with some inspiration!

xoxo  Stephanie

This January kit is definitely a favorite of mine! Tons of gold, pink, and turquoise and pops of bright color throughout. Tons of texture is included with wood veneer bits, Thickers, doilies, ribbon, and enamel dots.

Check out the faux leather bows! Seriously, how cute are those?

It looks as though the main kit is sold out, but be sure to check out the Add-On Kit and the Veneer & Embellishment Kit! These kits sell out pretty quickly so make sure to grab them as soon as they are released!

Happy Scrapping!

Shine: Paper Camellia Reveal Time

Hello Friends!  Have you seen the new January Kits at Paper Camellia? This is one of my layouts using the main kit featuring Beautiful Chic from Webster’s Papers and Dear Lizzy from American Crafts! Isn’t it lush? This definitely appealed to the “girly” me vs the “boy mom” me.  This layout was featured on the Paper Camellia blog on reveal day and I thought I would share it here with you as well! It also includes pieces from the coordinating add-on kit so you will want to snag that up to while you are there!  There is a ton of design team inspiration over there so be sure to visit!

shine PC DTThe colors make me so happy! I’m a huge fan of turquoise and pink as it is and then add a little cream, black, sparkly gold and little pops of color and it’s a match made in heaven! There are so many beautiful elements in these kits!

Ria’s kits almost always sell out so you’ll want to get yours before that happens! Happy Scrapping!

P.S. There’s also an Everyday Life Kit for the pocket scrapbookers!!

October

After the keen still days of September, the October sun filled the world with mellow warmth…The maple tree in front of the doorstep burned like a gigantic red torch. The oaks along the roadway glowed yellow and bronze. The fields stretched like a carpet of jewels, emerald and topaz and garnet. Everywhere she walked the color shouted and sang around her…In October any wonderful unexpected thing might be possible.

I shot this photo with my iPhone just before crawling out of bed the other day.  For me, mornings around here include getting up around 6 or 6:30 to pack lunches, make sure the boys eat breakfast, sign papers, and get them to the bus on time.

Sometimes, I crawl back into bed. Sometimes, I’m just not ready to face the day quite yet. Sometimes I drink coffee, check my social media and call my mother from my bed.

Sometimes you have to just be thankful you woke up to see the sunshine another day.

Sometimes you have to really open your eyes and notice the wonderful, unexpected things.
